While the operation is based in Austria, near the capital city of Vienna, extensive use is made of modern communication technology for coordinating and steering projects. This makes it possible to take advantage of the language skills of professionals located all over the globe, and in the local environment of the target language in particular. Founded by Dr. Robert Schlarb in the late 1990s, Native Translations continues to maintain a compact core team of professionals working together on a project-by-project basis. Unlike many translation agencies, which cultivate an extensive database of largely unproven potential translators, we are dedicated to the goal of building long-term working relationships in which trust and understanding are nurtured.
